This is a practice proposal for a self-designed Honors Experience for the University Honors Program at UC. For the 5 Honors Experiences required by the honors program, it is possible to have one that isn't just an honors seminar, or a pre-approved experience; honors students are able to design our own experiences, which can be things such as mission trips or international co-ops. For my practice proposal, I decided to do it on the GREEN Program, which is a short-term immersion experience in which a group of students goes abroad to Iceland or Costa Rica for about ten days to learn about renewable energy.
